As a consequence of these events, the extent of value accorded by countries to sporting disciplines and athletes, as well as the quality of educational programs they implement, become manifest through the outcomes attained. Boxing is an ancient sport with roots tracing back to civilizations of antiquity. While it was historically practiced for survival and military purposes, it has evolved into a sport of athletic significance in contemporary times.
